Hi David,

It's worth adding that a major cause of sleeks is too high a
concentration of polishing medium in the slurry. If using cerium
dioxide you should aim for 100grams of CeO2 in 1 litre of water.

Start with warm clean water and slowly sprinkle the CeO2 in
while stirring. Stir for another five minutes and then leave it
overnight to 'wet'. Resuspend it the next day before using.
