[ATM] Acculap, smash hit or trash it?

Hi, all! I've rummaged around in the archives to glean some wisdom on Acculap 
material from Salem Distributing, an intriguing alternative to pitch, and 
have come up with the following gleanings:

-Choose dark over the clear. Even though a clear lap sounds cool, it's really 
hard to see the contact through the back of your mirror. 
-Polishes slower than pitch laps, perhaps because there is less CEO loading.
-Doesn't stick to stuff or dry out readily.
-Smelly when cooked.
-Easy to rechannel.
-Maybe or maybe not mixable in different "strengths" to fine tune viscosity.
-Lasts forever, or at least as long as pitch.

Anyone using this stuff that could give us a comprehensive review?
