Re: [ATM] RE: Just me, I guess
Bob,
Thanks for information- it has since fixed itself! In my response to Chris,
I told about another very strange trick that Windows XP pulle don me. I will
paste it right here; it amazed me- but it, too, fixed itself. My answer to
Chris:
Thanks, Chris, and Bob-
It has since fixed itself! Once before, Windows XP pulled a most strange
trick on me; it changed all of my "folder" icons into large "red start
buttons" (like on the "start" menu). Then, just as strangely, this passed a
few days later. I have a screen shot of this strange phenomenon, if you
would
like to see it. (if any of you would like to se it; it was beyond my
understanding).

Firefox for my browser, and also am now using Mozilla Thunderbird for my
email. The only thing I miss from OE is being able to have certain types of
mail go directly and automatically to, for instance, my ATM folder. I have
sent an email recommending this to the Mozilla people. Both are free... and
'Ol Bill won't hardly miss the money, since both Outlook and OE are free
with the Windows OS. The Thunderbird interface takes a slight bit of getting
used to, but it's still user friendly, and you can import all your old
contacts and mail with ease. Also, for those in the need, it also has a nice
spell-checker built right in. John
