[ATM] Which stroke

Hello All.

When the polishment of my 8" f/6 (3/4" thick) has been almost completly done, I put it on the test and noticed that there is a kind of hump on the center. 
I'm using a same size tool, always TOT and taking a lot of care about pressing it before polishing. 
I've also noticed that the edge is almost completly polished, while the center still has some pits.
Has anyone already faced with this problem? How to fix it?
