Thanks to all who replied.

I would really like to raytrace the optical design, but unfortunately
the only information I have is what is on the schematic. I don't have
the optical prescription. (The optics are being made by Intes-Micro).

You've given me a lot to think about. I think I will try the
knife-edge approach, with the knife-edge baffles on the inside of the
cones. So now I'll calculate the number and sizes of the baffles
according to the standard prescription...
