#80 grit is too course for a pre-generated curve 120 is a better
starting point, even 220 is okay. Be sure you have a 1/16 inch bevel. The
difference between 5.8, and f 6 is minor. MOT with no more than 1/3 overhang
and a W stroke should bring you back quickly. Test frequently every thirty
minutes watching the doughnut and your C.O.C. Take it easy with the
pressure, the weight of the mirror and your arms are sufficient

I'm a n00b who's been watching this list for about two weeks. I'm ready to
start grinding my 10" plate glass. I ordered it pre-generated to f6 and the
guy marked it f5.8 with a black sharpie.
Question. If my goal is to grind it to f6 using #80 grit, is it best to use
a 1/3 COC stroke? All comments welcome.
