If you want to mix them, I'd try half 55 and half 64.

An easier route may be to soften the 64.  I would start with a 
teaspoon of unboiled, natural linseed oil to soften 1/2 kg of pitch. 
That should make it noticeably softer.

Heat it for the minimum time required to get it homogenous to minimize 
boiling off the other good solvents.

As always, I recommend quantifying the pitch hardness with a tester. 
Record the temperature at which the test was done, too.  The data 
point for pitch that is a tad too hard is a valuable one to have!
