Don't forget, Texereau was referring to polishing with rouge. If you're
using CeO2, as I imagine you are, it will be faster. Rouge is generally
considered to be 2x or 3x slower. A good "rule of thumb" with CeO2 is to
figure on an hour per inch of mirror diameter, but always inspect
carefully before you declare the mirror polished. I'd much rather polish
too much than not enough. :)
