Use an electric winch and maybe make the end panel of the trailer as a 3or 
4 x hinged concertina door (to get the length you want) that unfolds onto 
the two wheelbarrow handles that hook to the floor of the trailer for this 
operation. When loaded every thing folds up to secure.
The reverse also holds true once the scope is lowered out the trailer, the 
door can be folded back and the handles slotted back onto the scope.
