[ATM] shop rates

I just ran a few examples of parts through the Miami based shop.I
cannot believe the high cost of doing a simple eyepiece! This coming from a
machinist that never wanted to leave 1st generation tooling. My biggest
assets are time, patience and imagination.Your either born with these tools
or take a lot of time learning them.

BTW: shop tip for the day.Next time you want the screw to go where you
locate it,use a nail set instead of an awl or prick punch.Even in grainy
wood like fir,the flat/cupped end of a nail set will not shift as bad as a
point when locating holes. This is especially true when setting hinges. The
even detent of the set keeps the drill from scooting off the mark.It also
can give the edge of the hole a less ragged edge for small stuff like
locating holes for cribbage pins.
