Hi,
I did a 14 inch BVC mirror without trouble. But I prefer Pyrex or 
Borofloat anyway. Borofloat is a borosilicate like Pyrex, but it is cast 
like float glass. Its homogenous and proved to be without stress. The 
only drawback is that it is only available as thick as 25 mm. Since we 
have problems to get suitable blanks here in Germany some guys developed 
making big mirrors out of that thin blanks. As I know there are some 22 
inch mirrors on the way and I have no doubt that they get ready and fine.
