I haven't worked with it personally, but I know of some folks who are 
using it.  It is softer than Pyrex (works faster) but also stiffer 
(bends less under gravity) and the current formulation has better 
thermal properties than Pyrex as well (lower coefficient of thermal 
expansion).  It's also cheaper than Pyrex, so for a large mirror it 
seems well worth trying out.  Richard Ozer is trying it.  Perhaps he 
will chime in?
