Epoxy works 100% as secondary bonding to FRP or wood . If you want a lower
price, buy the epoxy you want from places like Gougeon, System 3 or even
Raka . Buy also whatever fillers you need, like microballoons, cabosil ,
etc, and the hardeners you need for the curing speed you need at the
temperature you have in your shop. To glue to wood , you need to saturate
the wood first with epoxy, let it cure, remove the amine blush and then
apply your thickened epoxy formulation . If you apply the epoxy without
saturating the wood first , you will get resin starved joints which will
invariably fail.

wood bearings. After many trials and errors, SuperMend was the only thing I
found that would hold it. The stuff is quite strong if you follow the
directions exactly. It bonds to almost everything. I think it will work for
you, too.
