Re: [ATM] Machining
There's an outfit called Precise Parts in Miami that makes one off astronomy
parts and advertises in S&T . They have a price estimator applet on their
website and prices seem low .

p.s. I'm new to this list too, although a lifetime of tinkering in ATM and
similar. I'm an electronics engineer in my dayjob .

Subject: [ATM] Machining
Hey, folks! I'm new here, but not new to ATMing. I was wondering if any had
leads on fairly-priced machinists? I'm getting outrageous quotes from the
locals because they're too used to dealing with the University at
exhorbitant prices. I just have a couple medium-sized pieces in 1/2"
aluminum to be done. Any leads would help...
