[ATM] gugolz pitch

I've been finishing up polishing the first mirror on my M-O-M machine
and I have been polishing with gugolz #73. I originally got the #73
because I suspected that here in NC in the summer it would work out
ok. I haven't been too happy with it. It seems way too hard and it
is hard to get a decent pressing. The surface seems much too rough
under testing (and I've got the standard M-O-M central hill). I've
since ordered some #64 from GotGrit and expect it will work out
better. Anyway I was searching the web and I found two interesting
links. The first:

http://www.melleroptics.com/datasheets/gugolzpitch.htm

has a table of gugolz pitch characteristics. I was surprised to see
that #73 is considered "medium". I can't imagine twhat the #82 and #91
are like! The second link has a story about how there has been trouble
with a change in the characteristics of gugolz pitch recently (last few
years):

http://www.opticsexcellence.org/SJ_TeamSite/RS_polPitch.html

Anyway I thought people might be interested in these links so I
thought I'd pass them on.
