There's RTV and there's RTV. Another source is auto supply centers.
(RTV is also used for gaskets.)
You want one that doesn't shrink as it cures and adheres well to glass.
Be sure to clean the spots you are attaching it to thoroughly before
use. You wouldn't want a bad bond so the mirror slips out of the cell
would you?
