Hi Ken,
Such as a EQ mounted scope? Dobs and Alt mounted scopes generally only have
90 degrees of movement from horizontal to vertical. I guess an EQ mounted
scope presents the problem that the mirror can go through 180 degrees of
movement.
In that case, remove the wedge completely before grinding, polishing,
figuring.  The extra weight on one portion of the mirror will put it out of
balance.  Or- don't use a ultra thin mirror.
