Re: [ATM] First Pitch Lap - any tips?

 Hi All:

I know Richard may have a stroke when I share this
with you all, but here goes:

I make pitch squares as outlined in Texereau then
stick each one to the tool. I have tried precoating
the tool with beeswax, or right to the glass. Both
seemed to work fine.

The trimming is easier (IMO) as I start with channels
which are quite wide. The only problem encountered is
having a square come loose.

I use Burgundy Pitch. As I work in a garage that is
not air conditioned I add beeswax to the melted pitch
to harden it some, it also changes the flow properties
slightly (IMO).
