If you have an edge tile that is exposed to the edge of the tool, you can
lose that tile with no problems.
You might want to check to see why the tool is now rocking on the mirror as
it shouldn't be doing that unless a tile has come loose and isn't yet
falling out.
If you do have to make a new tool, 320 grit is quite coarse enough to get
the tool into compliance quickly.  As soon as 50% of the tile surface is
contacting, you can proceed to finer grits.
