Yes Tom, I saw it as well quite nice and easily from Munich / Germany with a
8" Dobsonian with Baader Filter Film.
So did dosends of Astrofriends. It was best seen when Venus was 3/4 in front
the sun.

Du to the low contrast it was more difficoult to photograph it. See
