[ATM] back to sphere

Dear mentors,

I have an 8" f8 project in the figuring stage of life.  But I went too deep and am now trying to regain a spherical configuration.  I also had developed a turned down edge.

I have been working on the pitch lap, after hot pressing, MOT with short strokes, mostly center over center but some W too.  Strokes are less than 3" of movement.

I seem to be going the right direction but I am not sure I am correcting the TDE.  

How should I do this?
