Hi,
has anyone got any links/plans/ideas for tube rotation rings that could be fitted to a Synta 8" newt?

I don't have access to machinery other than woodworking, including a router.

The metal tube of the scope is not perfectly circular, and I need to make some form of rotation system that keps the tube in line with the ra axis (critical to pointing accuracy with the Bartels drive that is fitted to the eq-5 mount).
Any help appreciated,
