I would take it to the coating company next to you. The price Questar gives
is
crazy. I can't think of a reason for needing to refigure (I guess they just
don't want
anybody else to touch their telescopes). Anyway I never recoated mine, it's
still
OK, but whenever I have to, I won't take it to Questar (I could never afford
it...).
In any case was that price given to you for sending it to the USA or to
Questar
Europe (I think it is in Netherland)?
