ATM Diffraction Eyes?

Hi All
    When I look at the moon with naked eye I see diffraction at the edge
just like mirror in ronchi test.
I'm over 50 and have advanced to 2x reading glasses but have never noticed
this before. I don't know if its just a matter of having been  recently
educated  on some of these effects, or if theres a problem with my eyes that
warrant checking.
    Correction; I have noticed this effect before, at star parties hosted by
Jack Daniels.
