sounds like the start of the discussion about what makes an ATM, doing mirror by hand, machining focusser, grinding secondary, grinding eyepiece lenses, smelting metal from ore, digging up ore, melting sand, .....
just the opinion of a newbie.

Who can call himself an ATM, who has never known the exquisite feel of a
perfectly broken-in pitchlap gliding sensuously over a gossamer film of
transparent Cerox.
