Hi all,
Apparently my ISP is blocking messages sent via the internet connection at
work.  I have posted questions twice in the last couple of days.  Since they
never showed up  on the list I am assuming they were blocked.
The questions had to do with the differences in the shadowgrams of a pinhole
and slitless tester.  Specifically, the null test for a sphere.  I must be
doing something wrong because my pinhole tester shows a sphere but the
slitless shows a slight oblate spheroid with a turned up edge.  Turned up
edge verified with ronchi.  Ends of lines bend away fom the center of mirror
inside of focus. (Do I have that right.  TUE - lines turn out; TDE - lines
turn in.?)
