Harold,
He meant at his shop he accepts mirrors for coating with or without a
coating on them Silicone rubber, epoxies, plastic, metal and many other
materials do not interfere with aluminizing. Before others jump on me, ask
him if this is what he means. He did a large batch of spheres for flex
mirrors, some with a bolt epoxied on them. Most had bad coatings on them.
