No, both are red stained baltic birch plywood, 3/4" bearings and 5/8"
rocker.  You can see more of the red stain spills on my workbench in
most of the pics 8^)
Go here http://www.telescope.150m.com/18/18.htm and check the rocker
link, the stain shows a little better.
One thing I was happy with was the mirror box <only> weighs 59 lbs
and 41 of that is the glass.
