You're problably going to be taking about 2mm off the center of the mirror
which won't be too bad but it is a thin piece of glass so make sure that you
don't grind astigmitism into it by not turning the glass often enough or
applying excessive pressure to the glass.  FWIW, I'm looking at a fused
mirror that has a thinner front surface than what you have and it's also
larger in diameter.  I'm going to put a nice 1/20th wave surface on it in
the next few months.
