 Flex mirrors require a flexible spongy material to decouple the mirror from
it's puller and pusher ring.
 Can't think of one at the temperature of glass softened enough  to take a
set. I stored one for about 8 months in a shed that reached temps of 130. No
figure change. Rubber was squashed and hard. Figure had become elliptical
when tested- spherical when tension release.

 Keep thinking- flex will evolve- with other solutions.
 Such as  " new method flex". ( see archives )
