Joe, The overhanging tiles can be cut with a carbide tile nipper, or
with a cut-off wheel in a Dremel tool. The edges can be beveled with a
diamond or silicon carbide grinding wheel in the Dremel. You can grind
the edges with a hand stone, but it will take forever!

Actually, on tools bigger than 10" and tiles 1" sq., anything less than
half a full tile can be left off without and detrimental effect.
