According to the docs that come with my Willman Bell tiles, you should exclude tiles that overhang the edge at all.

Hi,

    The tiles are epoxied (did I spell that right?) to the dental tool.  I now have a few tiles that overhang the tool.

• What is the proper way to remove the overhanging sections of tile?
• Do the edges I cut/break need to be smoothed down prior to grinding?
