Actually what I didn't understand was WHAT he said to do, so I could
figure the "about."  Press until you feel the glass, etc.  Make 3 dents. 
Fasten the test mirrors with small blobs.  This is terribly obvious, but
If I had already know what he was talking about I would have known what
he was talking about.

OK.  Lay two tiny mirrors on a concave surface.  The perpendiculars of
the two mirrors will intersect at the ROC of the concave surface. 
Right?

The rest was a matter of fabrication.
