Re: ATM Painting teflon: mirror cells




Haven't seen any paints stick to unetched (nasty acids to etch) teflon.
Staining may work but don't count on that either.
As to the mirror cell, you may want to go find some maple for it's very fine
grain and good stability.  In anycase, plywood doesn't work well for small
pieces unless you use plywoods like furniture stuff (Appleply and Baltic
Birch are the names everybody keeps putting out) or model airplane stuff.
I might also mention that the U-Control wire is a very fine wire which has a
good strength for doing string telescopes.
