Re: ATM Foucault test accuracy




I'm with you Steve, it would be fun if the mirror was a known quantity. I
participated in the first round robin testing, which was interesting, but it
would be more enjoyable knowing our measurements would be compared to an
interferogram.

I have a hunch the first test got off the ground because the mirrors weren't
all that great - at least not at that point - and that the person
spearheading the effort was doing it for a school project (i.e. it had a
deadline). But if someone has the time and inclination to get this going
again count me in.
