You may want to build your mirror cell at this time as you may be getting
potato chip problems from sitting the mirror straight up and down which is
what the results are.  It sounds like you have a nice 2D spherical surface
but the ROC changes with the angle on the mirror.  To check for astigmitism
you might want to explore and rotate the mirror by 30-45 degrees and test
again and see if things change or stay the same.  If they are the same, then
you have a support problem as opposed to a real problem in the mirror.
