ATM compressed air
My spouse ( God bless her for supporting my hobby ) purchaced a can of
compressed air for me ( Ansco Air) so i might clean my telescopes. The
applications state it can be used for optical cleaning.( remove dust )
The included cautions state not to tilt can more than 40 degrees during
spraying and before use to press activator to purge valve of any liquid.
The chemical components are tetrafluoroethane. I have seen posts on this
site concerning the pitfalls of compressed air, but because this product
states its uses include cleaning optics, i was wondering if anyone has
any additional knowledge or experience concerning this or similar
products that would validate or prohibit its use. Thank you.
