ATM Compact telescope configuration

    All this talk of Mersene / Loveday & other compact type instruments had
me thinking today of an alternate configuration..... the best way I could
describe it is  as follows,   Imagine a modified Schwatzchild camera, that
has it's focus reflected by a small diagonal such that it is re-imaged by an
ellipsoid reflector... The elipsoid would basically act as a relay scope,
and also provide a further degree fo freedom to improve upon the already
excellent field aberations of the Schwartzchild....Anyways, I don't have the
time to explain it any more clearly than that, here is a pic of the basic
geometry that I scratched onto a sample label today... hope it makes

     Maybe one of the OSLO gurus could have a play with it and see if they
can come up with a worthwhile instrument......Michael.....?
