Very interesting question... I asked it directly to H. Clausing a few days
ago... here is what I got:

Beral is 91% reflection; Mir-O-Brite is 93%

Beral is a grown alloy ( Proprietary process) .  Mir-O-brite is a coating
+ overcoating
> Will it last long in a place near the Ocean (droplets of salty water in
the air) ?
Mir-O-Brite will last longer. That is why I recommended it.  Such
conditions will
shorten the lifetime of any aluminum or silver based coating.
> Can the mirror be washed ?
Yes

I'd like to hear about people who have had their mirror coated with
Mir-O-brite. Anybody has experiences to share about this coating ?
