There is a better way than increasing friction by a spring or anything
else.
Simpliest is increasing the diameter of elevation bearing.
But I made a device able to block the bearing in elevation, and allowing
a slow motion.
That makes planetary observation easy at high power.
If somebody is interested, I can mail some pictures of this device.
I can too send explanations, but preferably in french...
