Thanks to everyone for all the info on obtaining optical encoders. I found that Tangent Instruments was by far the cheapest. They are at least 50% cheaper than the mail order catalog co.(lumicon, JMI, etc.). They also make the ROM chipsets that most DSC use, so I going to upgrade that to. Thanks again. Chris
