Hi Balaya
Well, your not quite right. The correct way to do it is to
put the hole in the cap. You then remove the bottom of the can.
This makes it so it doesn't fall though the focuser.
When I made mine, I used one continuous piece of thread.
I carefully tied it tight and then put a drop of super
glue on the knot so it wouldn't slip. Since it is one
continuous loop, any out of round will self compensate
when I stick it in a round focuser barrel. As for the
thread being out of focus, this is normal. This can be improved
some by making a smaller pin hole. It is hard to make a really
small hole in the plastic cap but you can make a reasonably
small hole in some aluminum foil and glue it to the inside
of the cap. This allows you to make a little larger hole
in the cap.
