Don't suicide yet. You know, the star test is extremely sensitive, and your
mirror might give you satisfaction even with its flaws... for a even many years!
I have a 10 incher that has a bit of the 2 first aberrations and well I still
like it. OK, I think I will one day correct this... I would not want to look
being promoting laziness and too quick auto satisfaction!

Don't remember the size and f/ratio of your first mirror, but if it is very
small and/or very fast, a 14" with moderate f/ratio might even be easier.
And that's the opporutnity for you to make use of the experience - that often
comes by making errors, alas - and make, that time, a mirror "undistinguishable
from perfect" to quote Mel's page. Roma was not done in one day...
