Hi,
  I have a Responsyn HDM 185-2000-B Harmonic Drive motor, 9 ohms/phase
manufactured by Emhart of Wakefield, MA. I thought this would be a
conventional stepper until I did a bit of exploration with an ohm meter!
It has 9 wires, and between _any_ 6 I read 18 ohms, while the remaining
3
read 9 ohms to any of the 8 other wires. It is as if there are 3 center
tapped coils in parallel with 9 or 18 ohms between them!
I searched the Web in vain, has anyone any information on this beast?
