Included is a small picture of an 8" mirror roc.3200mm. It shows
(Unretouched)
effects of an effort to finish polishing as quick as possible.I took
polishing pads ,ceriumoxyde and set the speed and pressure of my machine as
high as it could bare.Average surfaceroughness about 1/4 to 1/5 wave.After
3/4 of a hour polishingtime on pitch with Ceo and a (much) lower speed
the surface showed almost no defects besides a nasty tde of about 1/2 wave.
