        Think if you will, about how much glass is represented by 2.5
wavelengths of light, then think of how much you take off by grinding at
220 or other coarser grits. There is nothing wrong with your mirror that
some more polishing won't fix. The difference between a good mirror and a
bad mirror is like the difference between a good haircut and a bad
one......time.
