ATM machine grinding strokes

Has anyone written anything on machine grinding strokes for large thin 
mirrors? I'm just getting ready to grind a 25" and this will be my first 
machine grinding experience. I'm assuming that MOT doesn't work with this 
large of a mirror so I'd like to find out what types of stroke people have 
used from hogging to polishing. How have folks made their machines do W type 
strokes? COC and Chordal is easy enough but how about some of the others? I'm 
using a machine similar to Micheal's
