You're scaring me. After 120 grit the ROC on my 6" f/6 was about 2" long. I
continued to grind MOT almost exclusively, and now that I'm ready to polish
my ROC is within 1/16" of my target. How would grinding MOT cause
astigmatism. I'm not questioning the validity of your statement, just
wondering how it works.
