RE: ATM Another parabolizing stroke question

Ric,

Not sure if I'm understanding your point here, but if you're making an
offer to share a description of the techniques involved in figuring with
a sub-diameter lap, then ...

   I'm asking! ;>)

For my next big project I want to make a 20" dob, including the mirror.
The biggest mystery for me is the final figuring. I've been watching
and saving all the recent traffic on this subject, but I still don't
feel like I really understand it. I've also done a fair amount of other
reading, including the books by Texereau, Berry, Kriege & Berry.

If anybody out there has a good discussion of figuring activities -
performing the tests, interpreting the results, and showing what figuring
techniques to apply in response to the various test results - I'd
really like to see it. Thanks.
