ATM Re: pulsing LED

An easy way to make a pulsing led for the telrad or other leds in other
finders is using an LM3909 IC. Radio Shack did carry it. I built a flasher
circuit with one for a blinking LED on a dummy cctv camera. Battery life
using 1 AA cell was over a year of continuous use. Ypu will nees a couple
of resistors and capacitor to complete the circuit. Radio Shack had
application notes on the chip in one of their handbooks. I'll see if I can
find the circuit and post it on my Website at http://www.esper.com/jcampb .
I built the circuit inside of a Daisy Electronic Finder I use on my scope.
